Life is always a little out of reach. A little out of control. Whether we experience a beautiful coming-together or a minefield of delays, we are essentially powerless to command our future. God has designed our lives this way. He has literally designed this life to be out of our control.
The blessings and lessons God has for us will interrupt our plans. There is no way we can fit them into our schedule when they are known only to God. Holding tightly to personal plans and having unforgiving expectations will cause frustration where God intends a blessing.
