God has been speaking to me about my journey amidst the snow and the cold in this season. He is asking me to see my struggles through His point of view. The content of His message is actually the repetition of a talk He has given to me many times over.
The amazing thing is, each time He reminds me, it has a new layer of meaning. And a new area of my life to which it can be applied. But it never stops being true. It never stops being relevant.
I share it with you today in the hopes that you might get a glimpse into God’s perspective of your trials.
I see the struggles you are going through. Remember that I am walking with you every step of the way. The troubles you face today are not useless. They will strip away the lies you have believed, and they will strip away your baggage.
Through the struggles you will learn how to lean on me, surrender your life, and trust me to bring you to a more joyful and peaceful place. You will be left with a greater understanding of who I am and what you mean to me. Our connection will be strengthened and our bond will be reinforced.
Do not run from the painful places in your heart. Dive into them instead. Walking into the broken places will teach you to accept love without reservation. They will teach you to share love more readily.
Remember, I am carrying you. Why are you striving to fight my loving cradle? Your struggling will only create discontent in your heart. Know that even when you try to run from me, I will continue to love you and reach out for you. Surrender. Be still and let me fight for you.
Allow my hands to carry you through; I will never let you go. Allow me to fight for you. Allow me to open the doors that need to be opened; accept the doors I have closed.
My child, do not believe the lies that the world spouts about me. Do not blindly accept what broken humans have to say about me. Search for me every day. Search for me in your soul. I will be there. I will meet you where you are. I will shatter the lies and reveal to you the truth of who I am. For I am the true authority of I am. No human can ever fully understand.
Accept my love. Surrender your struggles. Let your hope be in Me, for I will never stop loving you.
